With over 20 years of executive and operating experience, Rebecca currently serves as COO of Greater Seattle Partners, leading investor relations, economic development and operations for this public-private economic development corporation. GSP works to grow jobs and investment in the region, promoting key industries and unique culture on the national and international stage.

 

Rebecca previously served as CEO of Denali Founder Consulting, Executive Director of Madrona Venture Group’s Create33, Acting Director of the City of Seattle’s Office of Economic Development, and the City’s first Startup Advocate. Before joining the City, she was GeekWire’s first Chief Business Officer, Executive Director of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network, and Program Director of the Alliance of Angels.  She has coached over 2500 entrepreneurs on their business plans and investor pitches, is an “All Star” mentor for Techstars, and serves on the Board of Directors of Cascade Public Media. 

 

Rebecca received her MBA from the UW Foster school of business and is a phi beta kappa graduate of Carleton College. She was recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the top 100 women in tech and as “Do Gooder of the Year,” and is endlessly devoted to both startups and karaoke.
